koloHUB is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization, and every gift we receive matters to us. Most gifts are simple, and we accept them gratefully the day they arrive.
We accept cash, checks, card and bank gifts, gifts made through Zeffy and PayPal, donor-advised fund grants, employer matching gifts, business sponsorships and fundraisers, and in-kind goods and services we can put to use.
A few kinds of gifts we review before accepting, and a few we cannot accept at all. Because we send medical and humanitarian aid into a country at war, we have a responsibility to know where our funding comes from and to protect the partners and communities who depend on us. Our board reviews gifts that are unusually large, that carry conditions, that come from a source we cannot verify, or that would create a conflict for the organization.
koloHUB may decline a gift, or return one already received. If that happens, it is almost never a judgment about the person offering it — usually it means the gift does not fit the way we work, or that we are not equipped to handle it responsibly. We will tell you kindly and thank you sincerely either way.
Two things worth knowing. We cannot direct a gift to a specific named individual in Ukraine, because we work through vetted partner organizations. And we never sell, rent, or share donor information.
Questions about a gift? Please write to contact@koloHUB.com. We would rather talk it through than have you wonder.
